As special educators and individuals who need special education, we want this awareness to continue throughout the year, in every moment of life, and we work for this. I love May very much. May is a period when both seasonal renewal and social sensitivity increase in Türkiye. This month, when spring is felt with all its liveliness, witnesses the awakening of nature and also hosts many important days and weeks. May 1 Labor Day, May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day are on the agenda intensively throughout this month. In addition, many special days such as Mother's Day, World Press Freedom Day, World Farmers' Day are included in this month. I cannot help but mention the excitement that Brotherhood Day created for us this year, especially on May 9. As part of our A Better World with Values ​​project, we organized various events with our students regarding these special days and talked about the importance of our national and spiritual values. Before I forget, the championship celebration of Galatasaray sports club, one of the most important clubs in our country, was also held in May. We reminded our students that sports is a unifying value even if they are rivals, and that competition is a color of life. May, you are a very beautiful month

Today, I started writing the story called Our Values ​​in my own section of the Book Creator app. I chose the characters and events myself. I had a lot of fun and used my imagination.

 

Today we learned about the Book Creator app. We saw how to make a digital book, how to add text, images and sounds, all in a practical way. It was a very fun and educational lesson.

On this special day, we owe our mothers not only flowers but also a heartfelt thank you. Reflecting the patience, love and devotion they show in our own lives is the greatest gift we can give them.

  Our school, Erdemli Ertuğrul Gazi Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, participated in the eTwinning Day exhibition organized in our district in order to introduce and popularize eTwinning projects carried out throughout Europe. Many teachers and students from many different schools participated in this event. We exchanged information with other participants and evaluated how we could further enrich our projects. We had a nice and fun day that made us happy.

We wanted to raise awareness with this activity, we thought that the value given to women is the greatest of all values. My students and I were very productive and happy with this activity.

Erdemli Ertuğrul Gazi Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Celebrates May 9 eTwinning Day

 As part of the eTwinning project, A Better World with Values, we celebrated eTwinning Day with meaningful and fun activities. In our event, we discovered various value concepts in a fun way thanks to the Values ​​Wheel that we prepared together with our students. We reinforced our students' knowledge about values ​​with digital word games and ensured that they had a pleasant time. We distributed surprise gifts and value messages with the Values ​​Raffle event and presented small happinesses to our guests visiting our exhibition in memory of the day. In addition, we introduced other schools involved in the project process by jointly promoting our project and provided information about the purpose of our project and the activities carried out. On this beautiful day, which took place with the active participation of our students, we once again emphasized the importance of values ​​and experienced the happiness of being together and sharing.
